The Title Block Manager is a simple object which should be placed on each layout. It will show important data like dates, statuses and responsible draftsman. This data should be entered in the Sheet Index of ArchiCAD. The Sheet Index comes standard with ArchiCAD and you can add 10 columns with custom texts. These custom texts can be fllled with any sort of data.
The Sheet Index is published as a list to a textfile. This textfile is the source of the Title Block Manager. Once placed on a layout, it recognizes the layoutnumber/name and the matching custom texts are displayed. There are many options how and if this text is shown.
You can set rules. If a certain value is found the display can be changed. For instance, if the value APPROVED is found, the text can be rotated and given a bright color. Also several frames can be displayed (rectangle, rounded rectangle (2) and pointed rectangle.
This can be the result (object is selected)
Once the Publishset and the objects have been prepared, all you need is one click to update all your sheets! Simply press publish and the matching representation is show automatically on each sheet.
Limitations:
The format of the date is limited, because values with mathematical symbols like divide (/) ,minus (-) are automatically seen as formula's.
